1. What is a Posturator?

A Posturator is a Patented, portable seat cushion with adjustable internal components engineered to correct and maintain the user’s perfect posture.

2. How does the Posturator work?

The Posturator has several versatile components that can be adjusted to guide the user’s spine toward a corrective trajectory by simply leaning on it or reclining. The user’s body weight is cradled with comfort as the spinal structure is guided by the adjustable ‘spine profile’. The user can select to use it either for correcting hunchback (Kyphotic) posture, OR to maintain their perfect posture with simple and easy adjustments and modes of use. 3. Is the Posturator portable?

Yes. That was a key requirement for our engineers. The Posturator is intended to fit into our users’ lifestyles without intrusion. In other words, it offers users the freedom to use the Posturator on any chair or seat that they normally use in their day to day life (Whether at your desk, in your car, on your couch… providing that the seat has a backrest) so that the corrective effect of the Posturator can be sustained for more efficient results. Seat time is key.

4. What other options or products are available for correcting Posture?

According to the Medical Journals and clinical trials, there is nothing that has shown significant success aside from surgery which is a last resort. Currently the market is flooded with many elastic type products which never correct the hunchback issue and have no scientific backing for effectiveness. We at Thera-Posture are changing that with the Posturator by conducting clinical trials to show efficacy and FDA approval.

5. What makes the Posturator different from other Ergonomic chairs?

There are many great chair brands on the market. Some ARE genuinely top tier ergonomic chairs. However, none of them have been shown to improve bad posture or maintain good posture. At Thera-Posture we take a results-based approach. The Posturator uses patented technology of the internal adjustable components such as: the ‘Spine Profile’, ‘Pelvis Support’ and ‘Spine Nodules’. Clinical trials are the true demonstration of effectiveness.

6.How much Seat-time do I need for posture correction?

There is no exact seat-time. The more seat-time the sooner correction can be done. Make sure to change the recline angle periodically to give your ligaments a rest. Rule of thumb is: 10 mins. Of vertical setting (Rest time) for each 30 mins of recline time (When correction occurs).

7. What is a ‘Spine Profile’?

The ‘Spine Profile’ is the central component of the Posturator that guides the user’s spine to corrective trajectory. Although there are several different curvatures for different degrees of posture correction and relief, we recommend starting and ending with the mildest curved Spine Profile.

8. Can I use the Posturator without the ‘Spine Profile’?

No. Never use the Posturator without one of the spine profiles properly inserted in it’s docking position within the central cushions. This can damage the Posturator. The Posturator is intended and tested to be used with the spine profile ONLY.

9.What age range is the Posturator designed for?

The Posturator is most commonly used by adults who are conscious of healthy bodily structure, particularly if they regularly sit for long periods of time. Our Clinical trials have been extremely successful in providing significant improvement in correcting the posture of elders who suffered from kyphosis (Hunchback condition) and were pleased to avoid corrective surgery. The Posturator is not designed for an age range. It’s more so designed for correcting and maintaining perfect posture (Not for children under 12 years old).

10. What are the different sizes for the Posturator?

The Posturator is made in one common size but is designed to fit a full range of common body types and sizes of men and women alike. Simply adjust it to your purpose and preference.

Returns
